Job Description: 

Sell and/or rent mechanical equipment and machinery, such as recycling systems, triplex pumps, trash pumps, mixing systems, linear shakers, mud cleaners, hoppers, and mud pumps. Sell parts and accessories for repair or replacement for all major brands of solid control/pumping equipment.

 

Responsibilities Include: 
  • Attend sales and trade meetings and read related publications to obtain current market condition information, business trends, and industry developments.
  • Work directly with client’s equipment to meet their specialized needs.
  • Check out existing equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements.
  • Take orders and liaison between customer and Mud Technology International until delivery.
  • Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of manufacturing department’s production and delivery schedules.
  • Arrange for repairs as needed.
  • Recommends and sells industrial, construction, oil and gas field, horizontal directional drilling, water well, geo-thermal, bridge and pylon, and waste clean-up machinery.
  • Submits specifications to customer for review and approval.
  • Demonstrates and explains use of equipment and production process.
  • Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
  • Develop a daily/weekly call list and maintain information accuracy monthly.
  • Determining the kind of tools and equipment neededto do a job.
Education/Experience: 
  • High school diploma in any field from an accredited institution
  • 4-6 years of sales experience
  • Experience with software solutions and complex organizations.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
