Job Description: 

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing the receptionist area while providing administrative support to the President and members of the Senior Leadership Team. This position will report to the President of Biomerics FMI.

Responsibilities Include: 
• Administrative support to President and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members.
• Administers the company calendar, coordinating with the President and his direct staff.
• Schedule company meetings to include reserving the large conference room and other meeting rooms.
• Attends meetings with President and other executives, takes notes, participates in meetings, sends recap to attendees of each meeting.
• Conducts internet searches for information gathering. May develop reports based on information.
• Makes travel arrangements
• Arranges and coordinates meals for lunch meetings
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Manages the receptionist desk by answering and transferring calls, greeting visitors
• Maintains office supplies and places orders with established vendors. Teams with accounting personnel to close out orders in ERP.
• May contact various vendors, obtains pricing, generates requisitions and inputs purchase orders in ERP.
• Other duties as assigned.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent required
• Three to five years as an administrative assistant and receptionist required
• Must have a valid Texas Driver License and good driving record
Qualifications: Preferred
• Bi-lingual fluency in English/Spanish including reading, writing, speaking and hearing
Special Skills/Abilities/Knowledge: 
• Must be self-motivated with ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
• Good written and oral communication skills in English. Bi-lingual in Spanish/English a plus
• Ability to manage changing priorities as needed while maintaining composure and professionalism
• Above level proficiencies in MicroSoft Office
• Ability to maintain confidentialities and discern appropriately when information can be released to others.
Physical Requirements: 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, talk, see, reach, push, pull, bend, lift and carry up to 15lbs. The employee, will at times, be required to be mobile by walking throughout departments and the manufacturing facilities. Reasonable accommodation available.
Work Environment: 

The employee’s work environment is busy with changing priorities and demands and frequent interruptions. Controlled environment with central air and heat and working under florescent lighting.
